The MIS academic year runs in two semesters across four quarters, with breaks aligned with major holidays. Classes begin on 1 September 2026 and end on 24 June 2027. The key dates below are from Draft 1.0 of the school calendar and may be adjusted before the school year begins.
Semester 1 (September 2026 - January 2027)
- 12 August 2026 — Mother's Day
- 17-21 & 24-28 August — Staff training and work days
- 31 August — New Family Welcome Event
- 1 September — First day of school (Semester 1)
- 25 September — Mid-Autumn Festival (no school)
- 19-23 October — Fall Break (includes Chulalongkorn Memorial Day, 23 October)
- 10 November — End of Quarter 1 (45 school days)
- 13 November — Parent Conferences
- 26 November — Thanksgiving (half-day)
- 7 December — Father's Day (no school)
- 10 December — Constitution Day (no school)
- 18 December — Last day of classes in 2026
- 21 December - 1 January — Christmas Holiday
- 4 January 2027 — Teacher training and work day (no school)
- 29 January — End of Quarter 2 (44 school days) and end of Semester 1
Semester 2 (February - June 2027)
- 1 February — First day of Semester 2
- 6 February — Chinese New Year
- 22 February — Makha Bucha Day (no school)
- 26 March — Good Friday (no school)
- 6 April — Chakri Day (no school)
- 12-16 April — Songkran Holiday
- 20 April — End of Quarter 3 (44 school days)
- 3 May — National Labor Day (no school)
- 4 May — Coronation Day (no school)
- 31 May — Visakha Bucha Day (no school)
- 3 June — Queen Suthida's Birthday (no school)
- 24 June — End of Quarter 4 (44 school days) — last day of school
- 25 June — Teacher work day
