Academics

Academics at Masters

An American-aligned, Christ-centered education delivered through English, Mandarin, and Thai — forming students with head, heart, and hands.

Our academic philosophy

Curriculum framework

Through a curriculum based on a Christian worldview, students at every grade level learn the fundamentals of academics as well as art, music, and physical education. Our approach to learning is experiential: students encounter and solve problems by putting their knowledge and skills to work, and they spend a significant amount of time out of their desks and actively engaged.

Language of instruction

Our three pillars represent the holistic way our students grow — head, heart, and hands — and they represent the three languages that our students will use every day: English, Mandarin, and Thai. English is the primary language of instruction; Mandarin and Thai are offered K–12 as part of the redemptive educational curriculum so that every graduate can move confidently across the cultures of Asia.

Christian worldview integration

The curriculum, pedagogy, policies, and extra-curricular programs — every aspect of each student’s experience — are interwoven with the gospel. Each dimension of learning (head, heart, hands) is addressed in the classroom and beyond, including sports, life skills, and experiential learning. This facilitates strong academics in the context of holistic formation: students grow academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
