Opening Fall 2026 · Chiang Mai, Thailand

A place where your children can learn, belong, and thrive.

A Christian international school where head, heart, and hands are formed together — in English, Mandarin, and Thai.

From Our Founder
"We are building a school where children are formed as whole people — minds awake, hearts at home in Christ, and hands ready to serve."

Welcome to Masters International School. MIS is a home for learning, belonging, and thriving — for both students and families. We plan to open our doors in the fall of 2026, representing the combined efforts of a team that has spent decades in Christian education in Asia. In 1999 I founded Grace International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand; today GIS is one of the top international Christian schools in Southeast Asia. With Masters International School, we are expanding that vision to serve the Asian community in Chiang Mai through trilingual, formation-focused education.

How We Form Students

Head · Heart · Hands

Three pillars of formation, mirrored by the three languages our students use every day. Each child grows across all three.

  1. 01

    Head

    English

Rigorous academics taught in English, grounded in a Christian worldview and the experiential learning that has shaped our graduates for two decades.

  2. 02

    Heart

    Mandarin

Christ-centered formation woven into every classroom, every staff member, every program — making disciples who hear and obey God's Word.

  3. 03

    Hands

    Thai

Service, the arts, athletics, and life skills lived out in our local community — preparing students to bring life wherever they go.

Our Foundation

What We Value

01

Abundant life in Christ

Christ-centered formation at every level of the school.

  • All board members, leadership, and professional staff have a thriving relationship with Christ.

  • The curriculum, pedagogy, policies, and extra-curricular programs—every aspect of each student's experience—is interwoven with the gospel.

  • Services, staff development, and community programming focus on making disciples who hear and obey God's Word.

  • Failure is navigated as a learning opportunity, and brokenness is viewed as part of living in this world. Humility and authenticity are therefore critical hallmarks of the learning process.

02

Holistic education

Head, heart, and hands — formed together.

  • Each dimension of student learning (head, heart, hands) is addressed in the curriculum and classroom management, including sports, life skills, and experiential learning. This facilitates strong academics in the context of holistic formation.

03

Collaboration

We partner with families and the wider community.

  • The school engages with other local organizations to provide complementary services to the community. This includes churches, training centers, online schools, counseling centers, and experiential education programs.

  • Parents provide volunteer services in the school as part of their commitment to the community.
